Notice is hereby given that the Water Valley Electric Commission will receive sealed bids for Wood Pole Maintenance and Inspection Services in Water Valley, Mississippi.

Bids will be received at City Hall, 101 Blackmur Drive, Water Valley, Mississippi 38965, or can be submitted online at www.atwellandgentprojects.com, until 2:00 P.M. local time on September 16, 2025, at which time they will be opened publicly, read aloud, and taken under advisement until the next meeting of the Water Valley Electric Commission.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract documents may be obtained online at www.atwellandgentprojects.com. Questions are to be directed to Jeffrey Atwell via jatwell@atwellandgent.com.

SUBMITTAL OF SEALED PROPOSAL: Each proposal must be submitted in accordance with the instructions to bidders which are bound in the Project Manual. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all proposals.

SUBMITTAL OF ELECTRONIC BIDS: Each electronically submitted bid must be submitted in “pdf” format and shall contain the same information and forms as required for the paper bids. In the event that an electronically submitted bid has a corrupted attachment, the bid will be considered null and void.

The bid opening will be held in the Board Room at City Hall. Interested persons are invited to attend.

No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after the scheduled date and time of the beginning of the bidding event without the written consent of the Water Valley Electric Commission. Within the limitations of Mississippi State Purchasing Law, the Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the Commission.
