Notice is hereby given that the Clarksdale Public Utilities Commission, City of Clarksdale, Mississippi,
will receive sealed proposals for ELECTRIC LINE RIGHT-OF-WAY CLEARING SERVICES until
2:00 P.M. on May 4, 2023, at the offices of the Commission, 416 Third Street, Clarksdale, Mississippi, at
which time and place the Commission shall cause the proposals to be publicly opened and read aloud in
the Conference Room in Clarksdale Public Utilities. Electronic bids may be submitted through the
website www.atwellandgentprojects.com. Electronic bids are not required by the Clarksdale Public
Utilities Commission but offered as another means to submit a bid.
Plans, specifications, and bidding documents may be examined at the office of the Commission at the
address stated above or are available via digital copy. Plan holders are required to register and order bid
documents at www.atwellandgentprojects.com. Bid documents are nonrefundable and must be purchased
through the website. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Questions
regarding website registration and online orders please contact Atwell & Gent, P.A., 309 University
Drive, Starkville, Mississippi 39760, (662) 324-5658. The Clarksdale Public Utilities Commission
reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted and to waive any informalities or technicalities
therein. Proposals shall be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the
Specifications.
No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
The Clarksdale Public Utilities Commission reserves the right, within the limitations of state law, to reject
any or all Proposals received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Proposals received, or to
accept any Proposal which is deemed most favorable to the Commission. Proposals shall be prepared in
accordance with the Request for Proposals for ELECTRIC LINE RIGHT-OF-WAY CLEARING
SERVICES.
